North Korean prison Koje is retaken by US soldiers. Nice Taft steamroller cartoons, including one by Fred O. Seibel. Fun story about Myrtel Beach, South Carolina and funny laws, includes policeman Charles Edmonson in a swimming suit. Nice full page color Kodak film ad with Maine Lobsterman. Mrs. Jason Westerfield collects antique fabrics and uses them to reproduce new cloth. Interesting series of photos from a boxing match, Hans Stretz, Peter Muller, referee knocked out. Chart that is career guide for future college students. Full page color ad for 1952 Cadillac with jewels from Laykin. Mickey Spillane sells millions of novels about sex and slaughter. Lincoln Land - Hodgenville, Kentucky birthplace. Jenny Hecht stars in Women of Sin. Another odd full page color S and W, S&W juices ad with art by Kapralik. Feature on Japanese artists. Full page color Old Forester whisky ad with art by John Howard. Full page color Robt. Burns cigarillo ad with the Flynns, art by Russell Gale.
